Editorial Overview
A structured research-based guide using directory records and linked provider sources. It may cover use cases, access, platforms, strengths, limitations and decision factors.
Catalog Reference
A concise discovery profile selected from a CC0 public dataset after free-access, content-safety, duplicate and confirmed-dead-domain controls. These pages remain noindex and ad-free until substantive editorial work is added. They are not presented as official verification, user reviews or hands-on product tests.
Hands-On Tested Review
This label is reserved for a future review that documents real product use, test conditions, dates and observed results. It is never applied automatically.

Rating transparency
Editorial Ratings appear only on the 152 researched editorial guides and are internal comparison aids, not customer-review averages, certifications, safety scores or guarantees. Catalog references do not receive star ratings because a source-popularity signal is not the same as an independent product evaluation.
Import and duplicate controls
Catalog reference records are limited to entries labelled Free, Freemium or Open Source. Repeated normalized names, canonical website identities and page routes are removed before publication. Platform labels reflect only the available dataset field, such as Web Application, API, Mobile App, Desktop App or Browser Extension; unsupported apps and operating systems are not invented.
AI-assisted drafting
AI-assisted workflows may be used to help organize or draft directory text. Final public content should be checked for structure, consistency, unsupported claims and clear sourcing. AI assistance is not treated as personal product testing.
Corrections and truthful dates
Products can change quickly. An Editorial Review date changes only after substantive editorial work. A Catalog Updated date records the month in which the catalog record was rebuilt or corrected; it does not advance merely because a visitor's calendar changed. The copyright year updates automatically. Visitors can report corrections through the Contact page.
