The public directory contains 8,625 AI tool listings. 152 selected tools include detailed editorial profiles, while the wider catalog remains publicly searchable with direct provider links unless a destination is confirmed permanently broken or the listing is a confirmed duplicate.
Our purpose
We organize AI tools that offer free, freemium or open-source access. The current public directory contains 8,625 current listings, including 152 detailed editorial profiles and 8,473 source-listed records whose provider destinations passed the August 18, 2026 integrity audit.

Ratings and profile labels
Editorial Ratings appear only on our 152 researched editorial profiles and serve as internal comparison aids. Catalog references do not display star ratings because a source-popularity signal is not an independent evaluation. Neither profile type is presented as a customer-review average, certification, safety score or guarantee.
200 practical editorial guides
The AI Tools Galaxy Blog includes 200 English guides covering evaluation, privacy, security, accessibility, governance and responsible use. Time-sensitive claims are supported with official or primary sources, each new editorial guide names its source-review date, and article dates change only when content is substantively reviewed.
Catalog sources
The additional 8,473 source-listed records come from a CC0 public dataset and remain available in the public directory with direct provider links. Their dynamic reference pages remain noindex and ad-free; only confirmed duplicates, restricted-content records and provider destinations with reliable evidence of permanent failure are removed.
Provider-link maintenance
Provider destinations are reviewed conservatively. A listing is removed only after a repeated hard failure such as an invalid URL, confirmed DNS failure, HTTP 404 or HTTP 410. A timeout, bot challenge, HTTP 401, 403 or 429 is not treated as proof that a service has closed. Visitors can report a broken or redirected destination through the Contact page.
Restricted-content screening
Adult sexual services, gambling or betting assistance, lottery prediction and recreational-drug tools are excluded from the public directory. Neutral health, safety and educational resources are reviewed separately to avoid over-blocking legitimate information.
