The Editorial review system separates 152 detailed editorial profiles from 8,473 source-listed records and uses a conservative provider-integrity policy: confirmed broken destinations are removed, ambiguous source-listed destinations are withheld, and anti-bot responses are not treated as proof that an established service is closed.

A structured research-based guide using directory records and linked provider sources. It may cover use cases, access, platforms, strengths, limitations and decision factors.
Catalog Reference
A source-listed record included for catalog discovery only after its provider destination passed the August 18, 2026 audit. Dynamic detail pages remain noindex and ad-free, and the listing is not presented as hands-on testing, an official endorsement or a user review.
Verified Testing Label
This label is reserved for a future review that documents real product use, test conditions, dates and observed results. It is never applied automatically.

Rating transparency
Editorial Ratings appear only on the 152 researched editorial profiles and are internal comparison aids, not customer-review averages, certifications, safety scores or guarantees. Catalog references do not receive star ratings because a source-popularity signal is not the same as an independent product evaluation.
Import and duplicate controls
Catalog reference records are limited to entries labelled Free, Freemium or Open Source. Repeated normalized names, canonical website identities and page routes are removed before publication. Platform labels reflect only the available dataset field, such as Web Application, API, Mobile App, Desktop App or Browser Extension; unsupported apps and operating systems are not invented.
AI-assisted drafting
AI-assisted workflows may be used to help organize or draft directory text. Final public content should be checked for structure, consistency, unsupported claims and clear sourcing. AI assistance is not treated as personal product testing.
Blog editorial standards
AI Tools Galaxy now publishes 200 English guides written for readers first. Each guide has a clear purpose, a named editorial author, a publication date, a factual review date, useful internal links, and official or primary sources for time-sensitive product claims. Promotional claims, copied provider descriptions, hidden affiliate relationships, and automatically invented review dates are not acceptable.
Legal pages display a stable effective month plus the current review cycle. The Directory Edition label follows the visitor’s current month and year automatically; factual editorial verification and article update dates change only when the underlying content is substantively checked or revised.
Provider-link verification
Link health is evaluated with a deliberately conservative rule. A tool is removed only when an invalid address, DNS failure, HTTP 404 or HTTP 410 is confirmed on a repeated check. Temporary timeouts, anti-bot pages, authentication requirements and rate limits are kept for manual follow-up because they do not prove that the provider has closed. Existing confirmed-dead-domain exclusions remain in force in every production build.
Corrections and truthful dates
Products can change quickly. The Directory Edition month/year is an interface freshness label and advances automatically. A factual editorial verification date changes only after substantive editorial work. A Catalog Updated date records the month in which the catalog record was rebuilt or corrected; it does not advance merely because a visitor's calendar changed. The copyright year updates automatically. Visitors can report corrections through the Contact page.
